Nostalgia’s a wonderful thing, but, in the case of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD, sometimes the past is better being left alone rather than being tarnished by a game that doesn’t quite hit the mark as well as the original titles did.

With its cutesy aesthetic, environmental puzzles, and God-mic narrator, Joe Average might look at Quantum Condundrum and say to himself, “Gee. This looks an awful lot like Portal.” Fortunately, I’ve managed to take my Joe Average colored glasses off and can now tell you that even though Quantum Conundrum shares a co-creator with Portal, they compare like apples and oranges.

While the Wii isn’t generally known for it’s fantastic graphics, most games on the system look better than Enclave: Shadows of Twilight does. In fact, most games from 10 years ago look better than this vastly underwhelming port of an old RPG.

I’m a little torn with Skullgirls. Here lies a beautifully animated, deep and generally enjoyable fighting game, but on the other hand this a title that simply isn’t for the casual fighting fan as it is brutally, brutally difficult.

Sonic’s back, again, for another attempt at reliving the glory of the past. Â After a severely lacklustre attempt in Episode 1, Episode 2 is built on a new engine, has apparently addressed a number of criticisms from the original title and is yet another attempt by Sega to prove they can still do Sonic right. Â Well, they can, but only to a degree.
