Devil May Cry Release Date Announced

Devil May Cry Release Date Announced

Although it was never scheduled for release this fall, DMC is following suit and slipping comfortably into 2013.

Any conversation about gaming’s hardest titles that’s worth its weight in larynxes, sternums, and disembodied heads is sure to include the fabled Devil May Cry 3. And no, not the pussy re-release where they gave you the option to make it easier, either.

After a rather lengthy absence and a lackluster appearance a few years back, Capcom is bringing back the Devil May Cry series starting next January. The game is scheduled to drop for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on January 15, 2013, while development of a PC version is already under development and will release later in the year. Capcom has also announced that the new entry in the series will be fully localized, featuring voice talent in English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian.

Although this title is still a ways off and has been everywhere but the center of anyone’s attention, Devil May Cry has a lot of potential to revive the slowly fading series. DMC will be available at Capcom’s E3 booth in just a few weeks, so I’ll be sure to give it the once-over for you then.
