Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Being Made by Activision, Not Rocksteady

Well it seems that a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game may actually be in development, but rumours of Rocksteady making it are false. Turns out it’s seemingly Activision at the helm instead.
About a month ago we initially reported on rumours that a game by Batman developers Rocksteady was in development involving the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but this may have been proven as false.
An image taken at Toy Fair by a website known as ToyArk.com showcases a sign that clearly states that Activision is working closely with a new series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, labelled as a key partner.
It isn’t a concrete confirmation of the title, but it seems as if it’s more than likely that the game will be under development to coincide with the new series. Â For what it’s worth, Activision has worked with Nickolodeon (who run TMNT) on many games before, lending fuel to the fire.

Personally I’m a bit disappointed. Rocksteady making TMNT may have been absolutely awesome and dripping with coolness, but an Activision, cartoon-inspired TMNT just doesn’t appeal to me as much.
It’s probably really Call of Duty: Heroes In a Half Shell edition.
What do you think though? Disappointed? Let us know.
