Chrono Trigger Shoots Onto The PSN

Chrono Trigger Shoots Onto The PSN

Are you ready for one of the best adventures of all time to hit the Playstation Network with its time travelly goodness, epic questing and froggy knight? Of course you are.

Yes, after remaining absent for quite some time from the PSN, Sony has now officially announced that Chrono Trigger will be made available, via the PSN, starting from next Tuesday. They’re keeping the lid on how much it’ll cost though.

If you’re unfamiliar with the series and call yourself a gamer, where have you been? Chrono Trigger is one of the most beloved RPG’s of all time and may even rival Final Fantasy VII as they battle it out for the top spot. Coming from the collective minds of a SquareSoft (now Enix) trio of superb developers (including music from good old Nobou Uematsu) Chrono Trigger is an epic adventure across time, space, love, friendship and a whole load of other RPG staples wrapped up in one of the best RPG fighting systems ever created.

Originally released for the SNES, Chrono Trigger has since been ported to a number of systems including the original Playstation, Nintendo DS and a whole load of others and now the PSN can join the list of hosting this highly impressive slice of gaming history. If you’ve got some spare cash kicking around and haven’t played this game yet I demand that you start downloading immediately come this Tuesday.
