Pocket-Sized Vomit Simulator: RollerCoaster Tycoon Coming to 3DS

Get ready to put on your maniacal monopoly pants once again and squeeze those creative juices out of the darkest recesses of your mind because RollerCoaster Tycoon is officially coming to the 3DS.

Developer by n-Space and published by Atari, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3DS is the first entry into one of the best, if not the best, theme park simulator ever created. It’s been awhile since we’ve seen a proper entry into the series and n-Space is developing entirely new content while at the same time maintaining the things we have come to know and love about the series. Obviously this game is going to be in 3D, but what should be even more exciting is the inclusion of touch screen controls. The series works fine and well with the mouse and keyboard, but get down and dirty with your devious creations has been a long time coming.

Some of the revealed features include:

  • touchscreen controls
  • exclusive 3DS content
  • multiple coaster designs including suspended, wooden, steel, hydraulic, and inverted
  • design specific park themes including haunted house
  • Casual and prebuilt rides including monorails, kiddie rides, carousels, and county-fair style attractions
  • Complete control over hiring and firing staff
  • built-in tutorials
  • Coaster Story mode which teaches you how to do everything
  • multiple modes including Coaster Creator and everyone’s favorite, Sandbox Mode
Little else is actually known about the game other than it will be out sometime in March of 2012, but is there really anything else you need to know? It’s RollerCoaster Tycoon, c’mon!
