It’s that time of year where trailers are flowing like cheap wine and Metal Gear Rising: Revengence is next on the docket.
Despite the combat action and mouth watering cyborg action, even the most casual fan of the Metal Gear series is in for a bit of an adjustment period with this one. That’s all I’m going to say.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengance: Raiden’s Wraith
Still not entirely sold on it, but I hope the story meets up to Mgs standards, even if that does mean 30-minute long cut scenes.
Best part is how Raiden is the same voice actor for Axel, if you listen closely you hear him

Why does it seem like this is getting so much hate? As a guy who’s never played any Metal Gear game, I don’t think it looks bad at all.
It’s because it’s such a big departure from the tactility and stealth gameplay and Rising just makes everything look mindless. In 2010 that demo what some kind precision and thought gameplay. That and it undermines Raiden becoming (SPOILERS FOR MGS4) human again in 4.
