Mass Effect 3 DLC Coming Next Week… For Free

Not only is BioWare giving us some sweet new Mass Effect 3 DLC, but they’re doing it for free.
Those looking for that Mass Effect 3 Director’s Cut will have to keep on looking, however. The Resurgence pack is multiplayer exclusive, but it does offer some pretty neat content for anyone who is still trying to frantically raise their galactic readiness level.
The pack features two new maps, some hot new weapons and six new characters, including the Geth Infiltrator and Engineer, the Batarian Sentinel and Soldier, the Krogan Vangaurd and the Asari Justicar Adept.
If weapons are more your thing, The Resurgence Pack still has you covered.
Striker Assault Rifle– Krogan rifle with explosive rounds. Its rate of fire increases when the trigger is held.
Kishock Harpoon Gun– Deadly one-shot batarian weapon. Causes bleed-out or disruption of target.
Geth Plasma SMG– Fully-automatic geth submachine gun. Its rate of fire increases when the trigger is held.
The Resurgence pack releases April 10th for all platforms (unless your on the European PSN in which case the drop date is April 11th).

Krogan Vanguard? Yes please.
Well I would be glad if Bioware will try to be more charitable. Free DLC is one of the best things for a companys image there is. One reason why I really love CD Projekt. More companies should do that.

Seriosly, one of the easiest things capcom could do to save theirselves from the shitstorm they are in right now. Give out some characters on Marvel vs. Capcom, Street Fighter X Tekken some story pieces for Asura’s Wrath etc. for free. People would forgive. Maybe redo some of their classics for downloadable services for free.
Yes, it might be a bit expensive for them, but this business-model they are running with right now is costing/going to cost them SO much more. Come on capcom. Save yourselves.
it’s actually funny as when ME3 first came out i was playing multiplayer with my mates and i was talking about a krogan vanguard, they all laughed and said nah that will never happen it would be too over powered…
I used to think Batarians were like the shittiest thing in the Mass Effect universe. I mean c’mon, they’re just weird looking humans with 4 eyes – nothing special going for them. After that trailer however, glad to see that BioWare are making them pretty badass.

Geth infiltrator looks fucking sweet. You’re essentially playing as Legion, one of the best characters in the series, at that point.

I’ve actually seen people complaining about this, it’s free. Maybe i’m missing something but isn’t free stuff good?
